I got a pair of kenetrek mountain guides and first day of use I did a massive hike up to an alpine peak then drove to the end of the valley and a bunch more kms to check cameras, big mistake.

That pair leaked and they sent me a new pair and recommended 80kms in the flat before even attempting hills. So I did 80km around a track by my place, with blisters for the first bit, took them to the mountains and still had blisters.....

Little under 2 years of hard use they are almost done. At that price I don't think i'll consider again. Decent customer service and once broken in very comfortable but that second pair leaked as well. Just went with a pair of trapper tops and break in is much better. Still there but only pinky toe rubbing no blisters. Going to get the crispi briksdal pro for a NI pair.

Hahah sorry for turning this into a review but reminded me of that when you brought up kenetreks. Bad break in for me.
