Bright and chilly camp the night before filling my first tag this weekend

Marbled Orb-weaver. Almost ran into it walking out of the woods the other night. It’s about the size of an acorn. Took this with my iPhone while shining my headlamp on it.

Thanks. It’s pretty amazing what phone cameras can do these days. I’ve come to terms with the spiders after constant exposure to them. Still working on the snakes.
