It looks like he only has 1 good eye. He is a pirate

I took that photo the morning after he lost that eye in a fight. That photo was taken in early January during the rut in West Texas. That buck was with a large group of does along with another mature buck that evening before. I saw this buck in the photo below that same morning and he had a freshly broken G3. My guess was those 2 bucks got into a fight that night over a doe. I had seen this old buck, with the bloody eye, a month earlier about 3 miles to the SE where I took this photo.
