My wife and I were walking the beach when this monk seal swam ashore in front of us to claim it's preferred spot, and then immediately began covering itself with sand...

Is this Anahola side?

I had the same thing happen on Kauai during a fishing tournament and caused us to lose a pole for the day since he slept there from morning till right before sunset.

I had the same thing happen on Kauai during a fishing tournament and caused us to lose a pole for the day since he slept there from morning till right before sunset.
Pretty close...just a bit further north at Tunnel's Beach. This one wasn't going anywhere soon either lol!!

He also had a beach buddy not far away...

I sure don’t envy you Doc, we just got another foot and a half of powder, and the skiing is wonderful….but the really good news is that it’s now back down to -20’s for the next week, so the snow won’t be going anywhere anytime soon. You may just want to extend your vacation a little while longer. Lol.
