Taken at sunset Monday evening looking toward the sun, as a powerful cold front moved in. The violent wind kicked up tremendous amounts of dust. A local wheather station recorded 68 mph and and someone reported 80 mph. A station on a mountain peak about 15 miles away reported 97 mph. There are lots of trees and branches down all over town.
Snagged a new Sony RX100 VI for my upcoming AK hunt.
My dog was gracious enough to model the "you're not playing with me, so I am sad" look for a few test photos. Zena is a mini golden doodle.
So far, all the stuff you hear about this camera is dead on. Sharp lens, good color, fast AF. Easy to use manual mode. Top notch camera for travel. I also have a Panasonic ZS100 and will be using the two to see how they compare. I know the lens on the Panasonic isn't as good as the Sony, but it is still good. It'll be fun to play with them both. These two are about as good as it gets for ultracompact hunting camera, IMO.
