Snook in Florida

I’ve spent a fair amount of time with 8 wt. in hand, chasing snook and baby tarpon around in the south Florida Everglades, and as far as I’m concerned, it’s one of the most exciting types of fishing there is. It’s been about 7 years since the last time I was down there, and as I stare at the thermometer that reads -13° right now, I’m really, really missing that!

Near Springfield, IL circa 2000. We were releasing "ducks for the future" and Moose kept running out and retrieving them. Pen raised ducks take a couple of weeks to figure it out. Really fun spring day.
