Man I hate seeing that, fences are hard on wildlife. Did the fence kill them both or did you have to put one down?

The rest of the story is that both bucks got free as we were walking up the fence line. But like two bullies on a schoolyard, they kept circling each other all puffed up. This one made a big wide circle that brought him within range of us and my 14 YO dropped him with a single shot from a 7-08. It was the first time for me to see bucks get caught in a fence. A great weekend with plenty of firsts for both of us.
