In the suburbs of Chicago there's a county forest preserve that has a small herd of elk in a fenced enclosure. I have mixed feelings seeing them there.

It seems I rarely have both my camera and tripod with me when I actually have time to set up for a shot with running water. I need some more practice with these types of shots but this one from my recent elk hunt turned out decent.
