Phoneskope vs Universal mount

You guys that do a little digiscoping...I'd like to get something for my phone that I can mount to a pair of binos or a spotter to improve picture quality and be able to catch a video. Last month I struggled to get maybe 1 in 10 pictures to actually work through a pair of binos mounted to a tripod.

Would you spend the $ on a PhoneSkope setup or just buy a universal adapter?

I have the u2 universal adapter from phoneskope and it works well on my spotter and binos. It's pretty big compared to an adapter meant solely for your specific optic however. I can't comment on any other brands.

Seen both in action; I have a PhoneSkope. Do recommend a Bluetooth remote to take the photos/videos as you won’t introduce vibration.

I use the phonecam universal adapter. Fits spotting scope and binoculars. Fatrascal.
