Anyone use this product yet and have any insight on it? Was thinking about having it as something that the others in my hunting party could use who can’t bugle very well, and then be able to take it off and just use the tube when I want to?

A buddy had one in camp this year. Sounded great until he dropped it while sitting in his chair and the plastic mouth piece broke. We taped it back together but it didn't sound the same after.

E.L.K. Power bugle - easy peasy. sounds great. get extra bands

I bought one thinking I could remove the mouthpiece and still use diaphragm but it doesn’t separate. I did call a elk with it though and it sounds good. If you can’t use a diaphragm this thing is great. I still prefer diaphragm with the renegade tube.

Dam I never knew they separated! Mine came together and I tried to pull it off originally but it seemed solid. I went the whole season wishing I had a metal tube to blow diaphragm through LOL! I feel like a dumass now.

Santa Claus brought the metal tube with both mouth pieces this year so we can have inclusive elk bugling from our household.

how does the metal tube sound in person? the EZ bugler looks great for those who have problems with diaphragms. i used to use the bugling bulls that was similar and worked well, before that the power bugle, and before that the infamous terminator (before they turned into the stereotype ;) )

i have been shifting to smaller./lighter because authenticity is less important than volume, and none of it matters if you don't know how to work a bull well. i was going to order one just to check out, but they were out of stock. before i buckled down and forced myself to figure out diaphragms, i would have been pretty excited about the EZ, looks like a good product, which i expect from Phelps

@KickinNDishin can sound like a bull, that's about all I know. I haven't used it since Santa dropped it off for her :)

I was thinking about getting the metal one from Rocky Mountain to compare.

Just got one about a week ago, but haven't had a chance to get out and try it - my wife goes nuts if I blow it in the house. Hope it works decent, me and diaphragms are not a good match. Dirk Durham sure makes the EZ-Bugler sound good in the videos Phelps has on their web site.

seen this also and been thinking of getting one.
i cant use a diaphragm for shit so this would help if it works as easy as they say
