Trying to contribute more to the forum and wanted to share one of my most used patterns. PhD is what it is called. Modeled after my paring knife because it was so dang comfortable to use. (Paring Hunter Droppoint) Able to break down deer and Works great processing the muscle groups back at home.

0-1 steel and G10 handle material. Good looking set up.

Haven't made any in that steel. Always love the worm in look of a good ptina'd up carbon knife :) reminds me of beat up boots and worn in guitars.

I do too. I have quite a few knives in O-1 and various other carbon steels. I have an old sodbuster that has turned almost black over time. I do like good stainless steels on hunting/fishing knives just for maintenance purposes.

I looked at your website and you do great work! Im gonna get in touch with you and see about having you make me something.

I remember when I was younger cutting an apple with my prized possession at the time.... a Boker folder. Blade turned black as I ate that apple. I didn't understand at that time what was going on. I thought I ruined the knife or it was a junker. Turned out to be it had an old school Carbon soul I wasn't aware of :)

Thanks man! I'll put some more of the ones I'm taking to the Blade Show. I haven't contributed to forums as much so angood time to get content in. Seems like other social media gets in the way of the old school forums.
