PFAS in Montana fish

Reading this morning that the government just committed 144 million to research removing microplastics from the human body. There is also no current method of measuring microplastics in the organs so that variables currently unknown.

I look at a lot of this stuff as under inventoried. We now have testing that far exceeds our knowledge. There is a long ways to go to fully understand this stuff.

As with metals testing, where in the fish does it occur? Only in one report did I find that detail. It said in metals that the concentration was in the guts and skin and there was very little in the meat. The testing initially was by running minnows through a blender and then prorate the results. Over the years I have found the EPA techniques defied the standards developed by industry over a century.

Frankly I don't trust their results without knowing the details of how they tested it. But at the same time I'm not sure I want to waste the time I have left to understand the insanity.
