Just waiting for components to come in for a new 6mm GT build. This is my first 6mm rifle. Planning on using Varget. I've got a box of Hornady 105gr BTHP. Just looking for some guidance from people with more experience loading for this caliber. Thanks!

Start with 33gr Varget.
The Hornady load data from @nm.otter is worth saving for future reference.

Several people advocate for running lower than max pressure for this round for best accuracy.

2.5-2.6 gives a wide range of seating depth options.

I don't have my rifle yet so I'm not sure where the lands are going to be. Do 6mm'ers like a little bit of jump like the 6.5 Creedmoors do?

Myself with 2 6gt’s and a couple friends with them too, 34gr of varget seems to be the number for 105/109 gr bullets. Iv had best luck with bergers .050” off the lands in both rifles. All the people I know shooting the 6gt are using bergers or D tac’s (all target shooting).

I did test the Hornady 105’s but did have better groups with the bergers.

103gr Eldx’s shoot phenomenal but I find after 400-500 yards they tend up open up my groups where bergers hold tighter.

Jme!! You’re going to love the gt cartridge!
