Persimmons Tree

Definitely north of their normal range, not sure if there are more cold tolerant variety, I would say just go with Apple trees.

Persimmons probably won’t tolerate that cold of weather, unless there’s a variety up there I’m not familiar with that can withstand those frozen temps

Id reach out to Blue Hill wildlife nursery. They have a good variety of grafted persimmons and could tell you if they have anything for your area.

Definitely check out Blue Hill. I’ve bought too many of his trees and they are far superior to any other nursery I’ve bought from. Their most popular trees sell out quick. He’s pretty far north so hopefully they would work for you. Give him a call.

I've got (4) persimmon and (4) crabapple coming this spring. First time getting trees from them, but I've read a lot of reviews on another habitat forum.
