We just had our first fire few miles above our house in the mountains. Stay safe

It's been great weather in Colorado too. I think we have cracked 90° twice, two days last week. It's been very unusually cloudy with rain.

Speaking of rain... It absolutely poured in Wyoming yesterday.

Similar here in Southcentral AK, lots of clouds and rain this summer. I think it hit 70 twice so far. This weeks temps won’t make it out of the 50’s. Besides potatoes, the outdoor garden is looking bleak.

Ya, the garden here in the valley is WEAK. Even my greenhouse plants are pathetic. Carrots in the garden are hardly an inch tall and same with beets/radishes. Should've just went straight potatoes this year. Last year it was sunny and 75 up until July 4th and it started to rain every day until October, hopefully it's inversed this year!

I will say growing up in the Midwest with 4th of July almost intolerable to be outdoors, yesterday's 4th of July weather was a dream for chilling in the backyard with friends. 65 degrees and the fire kept the bugs back. Perfection.

Not a lot of rain in Mn but mulched garden spots are hanging in there well but mostly grow acorn-butternut squash and pumpkins but did plant a few Bear Island Flint corn seeds the wife had in the freezer for a decade or more. The corn is short but just hoping to get fresh seed from the corn.

Here in San Jose we are looking at highs of 75-80, lows of 55, mostly sunny, and ~35% humidity for much of the coming week. Hard to ask for much nicer weather.

Ugh, it is unusually warm here for western WA. But we will be on the boat the next 2 nights so it should be tolerable.

Was just in Maine. Acadia, Bar Harbor, Kennebunkport. Spectacular state.

Rain and fog our entire trip. Barely saw the ocean. Means we need to go back!!
