Penultimate scouting hike

Well, the last hike into sheep country didn't quite go as planned. I missed the trailhead, ended up in thick bush and steep terrain while climbing high to get my bearings. Then an hour of side hilling and my new boots were telling me I should have worn them a bit more. One more look at some elk country on the weekend, and then it is go time! Unfortunately, "someone" has to work, and cancel our planned trip. So unless I find some crazy elk this weekend, the season will start with three days of badland muley hunting with the bow. Not a bad alternative
