I shot one in 2014 that was 751 if I remember correct, gotta look at the paper the game commission sent me. Absolute nightmare to get out of the woods, couldn’t quarter em and pack em out back then. I full body mounted him like an idoit haha, had to use a grizzly form. It’s beautiful, everyone always comments on it, but man it takes up a ton of room. Already had 2 other full body mounts as well. Congratulations! That 714 shot with a bow last year was taken 3 miles from my front door. I've got pictures of him in my field a few times. PA and NC got the biggest bear in the country, no denying that.

Lived in NEPA growing up and neighbors would have bears come into their bird feeder. They sure do grow em big over there!! Some real bruisers!

Hey!! Dont leave little NJ out of this! Lots of those PA brutes were border bears.

I always laugh when NJ guys pay guides $3-5000 to go to Maine or Canada to shoot a 150# bear

I saw the 864 lb bear that was killed in 2003 in Pike county PA. The doe they had hanging next to it looked like a rabbit. It was massive. I can't find the picture.

Need to take some updated pics. It’s in a spare bedroom these days lol. Prolly going to to the in laws house honestly so free up some room since I have 3 kiddos. It’s the same with deer mounts. I will never mount another, think I have 17 shoulder mounts, young and dumb lol.

Y'all grow some big blackies down there. A 300 pounder up here is huge. At 700 pounds he would put most of our interior grizzlies to shame.
