Alright I don’t get it. I have the 240 jacket and to me it is nothing more than an expensive zip front sweat shirt. Imo there is no wind blocking capability by this layer. I bought it in hopes of it being similar to a windstopper layer and based upon the description and the many reviews I am deeply disappointed in that regard.

That being said I like it as an outer layer when warm to cool and as a mid layer when colder.

I love the hooded Peloton 240. Perfect to have for a lot of outer layer use in BC and the NWT in August and Sept and for layering in super cold days whenever. Snug fit, especially in the sleeves...great for a bowhunter. Also my go-to jacket for spring bear hunting in May in BC.

I also where it cross country skiing, bird hunting and hiking. Even my favorite for shooting sporting clays when the weather is cold....like its been the past 6 weeks here. Doesn't snag the gun butt due to the trimmer fit. That said, I wear an XL in it just like all the other KUIU jackets.

I like the KUIU Chugach rain gear vs a hard shell. I take it, the Peloton 240 and a Super Down Ultralight hooded parka on all my backpack trips. And I prefer the Peloton 97 vs merino as it dries much faster for a next to skin layer.
