I just bought a pelican v730 case for my V3X. I am curious how you all hold your arrows in the case? I can't seem to find any product online that will work for me. Thanks all!

I just cut holes out for the fletching and slits for the arrows in the bottom foam piece. It's tight, but I can get 12 arrows in it.

I didn’t use the arrow holders it came with. I have one of the Easton arrow cases that straps to the lid.

That’s on a v3x 33? What’s your overall
Impression of the case? Is the shell heavy duty or more light and flexy?

It's a Vertix. I bought the case for my first fly-to-hunt trip in 2021. Have flown the bow a total of three times now, no issues.

The case is pretty stout. It's a typical Pelican case. Not sure how much experience you have with them, I'm active duty military, half the crap we have comes in Pelican cases.

My choice came down to spending a bunch for the bow-specific Pelican case or an SKB, both of which were really expensive, or this, which was way cheaper but would require a lot of custom fitting. As usual, I went for cheap + elbow grease. Which reminds me, now that I'm using a Tight Spot quiver, some more elbow grease is required.

Cool thanks! I want to say one of the Pelican “bow” cases I looked at didn’t seem to be the standard Pelican material I was used to.

I probably wouldn’t do this for flying, but I only have the thinnest foam pieces on the outside. I cut it to fit with my tight spot quiver on the bow. I use it strapped to an ATV or in the back of the truck, so I like to be able to just grab it and go. Don’t think I’d trust that foam configuration for air travel though.
