Pedestal ideas for shoulder mount

Hey ya'll, wondering if anyone has any cool pedestal mounts they want to share with me. I plan on building one for my buck that I get back in a couple of months. If you built them yourself that would be great if you can share any build pics too (if you got em)

I think I want to do a octagon pedestal with some rough cut/ barn wood but also want to incorporate my wife's skull mount as well. I was thinking of building a cavity with in the pedestal underneath and putting the skull inside the cavity with some under mount lighting on it.

Or just do the pedestal mount and through the skull mount up top off to the side or something.

I would love to see any people incorporating a full shoulder mount and also a skull mount.

We killed them on the same trip so I think it would be really cool to incorporate them together. Hers was much smaller and she prefers Euro mounts rather than full shoulder.

Wife and I picked out rough cut lumber at closed down sawmill. Had Amish guy build one for me for my bull mount.

I think we may, my wife kinda liked it.

Not a shoulder mount, but I made this pedestal this winter. Took a piece of juniper log and cut part of the side out of it then burned it with a torch. Added the brush using a piece of foam that’s covered in the dirt.

though i made the table they sit on, i didn't do the taxidermy. they can both swivel to any position you want in relation to the base.

horn rot. not uncommon on the western side of the alps since it's one of the wettest places on earth.
there is a little twisted stump there.
