Selling a Peak 44 Bastion carbon fiber stock with an inlet for a long action Weatherby Vanguard/Howa 1500. The barrel channel is for a #2 Sporter and smaller. This stock weighs a scant 24oz. and has a brown/green paint scheme on top of the black carbon fiber.
All Peak 44 stocks are supposed to be glass bedded, which this stock was. The old bedding compound has been removed with a dremel. All parts that the action/barrel made contact with have had the bedding compound removed. You will need to bed your rifle to the stock. Peak 44 sells their bedding kit on their website for $25, and they have video tutorials if you’ve never bedded a stock before. It’s very easy if you take your time.
Brand new these stocks cost $800 + tax/shipping. I’m looking to sell this stock for $500 TYD. Cosmetically, the stock is in perfect condition and has been cleaned top to bottom. Only moving this because I got a Weatherby Model 307 and the action is not compatible with this stock. I had this listed several months ago but at the time had changed my mind and thought I would use this for another build, just haven’t gotten around to it.
