All of the prarie dogs w in 425 yards of the porch have already volunteered for TMK testing this week. There’s a little colony in a dip I can’t see that keeps repopulating the vacated dens.

I got twelve in past two weeks with 17HMR. Pdog Hotel sits right adjacent to my property on a neighbors unused land, keeps them coming consistently. Probably will have to gas them as well, in the meantime I’m keeping the magpies fed.

last June I went straight from the S2H course to a big prairie dig town. Shooting little dots all week and then little moving targets is silly fun. I hope to do it again this June!

Shot a lot of them, CO, KS, WY, and SD.

22 LR, out to 75 yds. Old Winchester PowerPoints were great. New ones weren’t accurate sometime after the early 2000s.

.17HMR to 175 yds with long shot of 265 yds on a calm morning. 17 gr V-max were much better than hollow points for p-dogs.

.204 Ruger out to 450 yds, long of about 500 yds. (39 gr Sierra Blitz Kings).

Eight twist .22 BR using 75 gr Hornady A-max with a long of 820 yds. Brothers have scored out to +1100 yds with them.
