Hi Rokslide,

Apologies for letting this fall by the wayside, we are waiting on customs for all our approvals for the shipment, we have decided due to interest to send some of our new Ultralight Precision Hunter (UPH) stocks as Blanks, these things have been custom designed for the Schultz and Larsen Aluminium Tactical action for an ultralight tactical rifle that we think is also pretty damn good for Long Range hunting. We are flat out machining other stocks but can send them as blanks and are asking if there is any interest from rokslide? Teaser Video:
Bolly UPH (raw unfinished)
LimbSaver... - Precision Defence Industries

They will fit pretty much any action you just need to know someone with a Mill to inlet it/get a gunsmith to do it, these machine well if there are any doubts we have a video of them being machined to put gunsmiths concerns at ease, they are light at around the 700grams/24oz so not featherweights but they are a larger stock more geared for going long.

Oh and price (with a classic or airtech limbsaver and either ruff tuff or painted) + flush cups and a mounting system on the forend should be the same price as the featherweight - $100AUD as they will not be inletted

still able to get in on this

If you're quick

Any time frame when the group buy stocks will be shipping?? My rifle is anxiously waiting.

Well, we just had an absolute crazy few weeks with the Australian SHOT so apologies for the delayed reply...but... the stocks are made... all we are waiting on is our customs to talk to your customs and then send us a permit then should be good to go.

Words don't really express how sorry we are this took so long, it got to a stage where we put the stocks in boxes so we didn't have to see them on the shelf! but finally they are en route to the USA with almost more weight in paperwork attached to them than the contents!

Sincere apologies for the delays but we have shipped them direct so not long now.

We don't expect it to ever take this long ever again as 6 months is just crazy, but we've learned a lot about exporting carbon fibre (restricted due to JSF F35 program believe it or not) and rifle stocks (technically a firearm component even though its just a lump of carbon with some cutouts) and as long as we don't time it during a change in Legislation (thanks for warning us politicians) it shouldn't take this long at all.

For those that have waited this long, hope you like them. We'll take any feedback - the good, bad and the ugly is all welcome. I can be contacted directly via email : [email protected]

One bit of feedback we have since got is that in magnums (our test 7RM recreated the effect, but our 260 and 243 wouldn't), with the lumley arms pillars not being trued to the angle of the DBM and being free so to speak, the action screws can come loose. It is a simple fix and is recommended anyway, epoxy/devcon/etc bed the rifle to stop the pillars from spinning, that way you'll have an ultralight rifle that won't ever let you down.

Regards,
Bourney

Hi Everyone,

For those that are awaiting their stock... well they turned back up in AU today... so we are resending with UPS but we will need anyone waiting for a stock to contact their local UPS branch and get pre approval to recieve a Firearms stock from Australia - sounds ridiculous we know... but that is the explanation we got back. I'll be sending everyone an email as well but in case they miss it, I thought I'd post here as well. We can not resend until you confirm you have pre-approval to receive them.
