I have used Paypal since 2002. This year, they are stiffing me. I ordered a Traeger pellet grill from an out of state sender. UPS shipment, but the grill was delivered to a different home than mine. The pictures make it obvious. PayPal is refusing to refund my money, claiming it was "delivered." Technically, yes, it was delivered somewhere but the common definition of delivered is "delivered to the correct recipient."

I have tried to get them to be reasonable and follow their own terms. They repeatedly come back with the claim it was delivered despite 3 employees saying it obviously not my house. So, I will file in small claims court for the amount owed, and they will have to get a lawyer to represent them, spending well more than the amount in question.

When I end this fiasco, I will never use Paypal again.

How is this PayPal’s fault?

Your beef should be with UPS, assuming the seller put the correct address on the shipment.

Paypal has a guarantee as part of their alleged buyer protections. UPS sucks, too. I called them and they won't do anything, either. I'm not the party who contracted to ship with UPS, the guy who sold it is and he is no longer on Ebay so they will not do anything.
