It really is the simple things that most pack manufacturures don't get, but not Kifaru.
When I ordered my Urban Zippy I did not order a waistbelt because I use the pack for work and don't really use or feel the need for a waistbelt. Well I am planning to use my UZ on some hikes on a vacation we are going on soon and I was thinking I might want a waistbelt for this. I went to my spare straps in the garage and found the perfect strap to use for a waistbelt. Of course it was one of the compression straps that came with my UZ. So just had to put it out there that Kifaru made another versitile piece of gear with multi-use functions. The pack comes with 2 compression straps which I think one is plenty for this size pack and now I can use the second compression strap as a waistbelt or compression if needed.
Yes this is probably a pointless thread but my excuse is I am going on only 3 hours of sleep in the last 36 hours so take it for what its worth.
