Patching 500D Cordura?

I got a very small cut (less then quarter inch) on the bottom of one of my packs that is made of 500D Cordura. I’m worried it’ll get worse so I was thinking of patching it. But I’ve also seen other people with holes in their pack that wasn’t further affected by the loading, and unloading of the pack. Should I leave it be? Should I patch it? If I should patch it, what would you recommend? Thanks in advance.

I patched a hole in my 500D Cordura pack with Tenacious tape. So far it is holding up.

I would sew it, better safe than sorry.

Can’t say if it would work for you but in the army when we cut or tire a piece of gear we would get it sewn and sometimes with a reinforcing patch. Big jagged zig zag sew jobs done with industrial machines. Shoe repair or sail repair shops have them. Cheap and easy to get done.
