Thanks so much for the photos and info!!! That's super helpful. For reference, would you mind sharing your height and weight? I understand if that's too personal :) I sort of wish the SO website offered photos like this of the pack line, including pics of the different color lines offered. Thanks again!

Don't be afraid to call them either. Kevin, Dave, and Luke are all excellent guys and will do whatever they can to help you.

Plus a lid can be added for additional storage or a day talon could be added as well.

I'm 5'11.5" and 155lbs. 18.5" torso.

Those photos are with the 2" frame extenders in. I don't need them for day hunting, but haven't spent the time to remove them. Once I do I'll other leave the extenders out and carry 4" in the pack of I get an animal down.

Packs are great! Most comfortable I've used! Still going strong! They've been abused!

I had a SO and absolutely liked it. Then they came out with an updated suspension. Like a fool I sold mine to get the latest and greatest. Could not stand the new belt and ended up selling it. Regret every day selling my first one

I've been running this pack system for a few years and have evolved with it. It's absolutely functional for serious backcountry pursuits.

I can't speak for their older frame system as I purchased the new Revolution Fortress 6,300. What I can say is it is the most comfortable and versatile backpack I have ever owned.

I am a backpacker, not a hunter, and, in my opinion, the SO Revolution is a game changer. I have close to a dozen packs that have all been relegated to use for friends when they need a backpack. They include my McHale SARC pack, a ZPacks cuben-fiber pack, and many more.

Great company to work with and a system that allows me to carry weight in the winter.
