In case anyone is looking for a paper dope card template, I thought I'd share the couple I put together.

95% of this is learned/borrowed/stolen from @THLR on one of his longer tutorials. I recreated it with a few modifications so I can use MPH and DA. On the backside of this I have a DA table printed.

The template is a PDF file. I add my specific information using Preview on Mac, but any PDF app should work (or write it in manually). Once I've added my ballistics I export a JPEG or PNG to keep on my phone and print a hard copy for my bino harness.

I put together an abbreviated hunting range card. On the "Hit Zone X" Target" I add the distances that dope will hit the target I select (8" for whitetail, 14" for elk); essentially it's telling me what my margin for error is if the animal moves or I range incorrectly.

I also put together a longer dope card in the same style for the range.
Instead of "Hit Zone X" Target" I have "MV SD Xfps Vertical Dispersion" so when I'm shooting further, call my shot as good but still miss I can first check to see if vertical dispersion from MV deviation is enough of a culprit to cause the miss.

This isn't in the template (it's applied when you add dope) but I like to color code my data.
On the hunting card, the data in red means that those ranges have an impact velocity below what my necessary bullet upset speed is. On the hunting card there are a couple of red data points that also have a light red highlight behind them; this indicated that the bullet is starting to go transonic at those ranges.
On the range card, the data in
red means that the bullet is going transonic in those ranges.

The PDF template files were too big for Rokslide attachments so I put them on Google Drive: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1HPgKg_y3dio7i8vKAK_YoXbLlYUwN29Z?usp=sharing

Preview is the thing I miss most from my old MBP. Not so easy for most of us to directly edit PDFs.

Was it created from a spreadsheet?
