Are the Simms g4 still the cream of the crop when it comes to waders?

I thought about going with them a couple years ago but the way I understood it they pretty much have their own draw to decide who gets to go with them. I curious why anyone would leave a trip like that to chance vs. just booking with another good service and knowing that your going if and when you want?
