I know none of the rest of you guys sweat when you hike but I like cinnamon rolls. Suggestions solicited on vented/zipper pants that don't cost as much as my rifle and will let the berries stay cool for the 20 minutes of hiking I can do before I pass out. Bonus for pockets for my inhaler.

I use the Wrangler 5 pocket. I sweat like crazy and although they don’t have vents, they dry super quick and are equally as cheap.

not Sure if this fits your situation but in Summer and very early fall in hot dry weather I wear cotton hiking pants. They actually breathe, no need for zippers, and they can be found cheap. I have a pair by wrangler right now that I got for $25 or so at Walmart. Been using them a bunch this summer. Flame on!

Duluth trading has lightweight hiking pants that were inexpensive and dried quickly no vents.

I wear Dahui short pants, camo and a 92/8 polyester/spandex blend. Their stretch board short.

Not zip vented, but OR Voodoo pants breath incredibly well.
