When you always carry a gun, you don't wanna advertise it. I want to blend in, 511 garb is a big tip off IMHO.

I guess it depends on where you are. I carry at all times. Nobody looks at me sideways in my 511 "painters pants", which is what they look like. I wear drab green, about the same color as my Zions. They don't look tactical at all to me. But there is no wrong answer when it comes to taste or personal preference.

Yes, it's crazy how California has demonized guns and even self defense. I'm a native San Diegan but left permanently at age 19. When my sister moved here in her 40s she was terrified of guns. Even sadder, she was terrified of the thought of her boys having pocket knives at the tender age of 12! Thankfully time has changed all that for her family, but I am saddened by the loss of self-reliance and general manliness of the country today. Of course if you are a manly man today you can get lots of ladies, leaving the cucks to their basement porn.

While some Californians laugh at the South, we pity them, as they have grown comfortable with a government that treats them like children instead of free men.

I think I'll go shoot my silencer-equipped machine gun with my Surefire 100 round magazine. 👌😁

Some of us stay and continue to fight while most conservatives seem to wanna cut & run. People leaving simply handed the state to the Leftists...used to be a red state. Now more than ever, proper training and EDC is advisable. The state's getting weirder and weirder.

I think it's the opposite. People coming from out of state turned it into the crazy place it is today.

Bought a pair of zions just to see how they hold up and fit. So far I like them but I’m open to other suggestions just because these on the only hiking/hunting pants I’ve bought that I know some guys use out west. Are there any other recommendations from hunting and non hunting companies that anybody would recommend for pants in all seasons. Budget hunter here but get LEO discount on some brands so I’m open to any suggestions.
Duluth Flex dry on the fly pants. Their fleece lined ones are money in cold weather. Way better pocket layout than the Pranas,or those cheap ass wrangler pants that fall apart. Duluth runs sales codes all the time.

I didn't like that the prana only had one pocket
Running a pair of Wranglers at work and there not holding up super well. And the leg hole is so small if wont Drape down over my boot.
So far in the lower buck category.
I think the Eddie bauer's are the best.

Do the Duluth pants still have that wide leg cut? I bought two different styles of Duluth pants about 4-5 years ago and returned them because of that and I don't have skinny legs. The material & stitching quality was great but the design was not. My son saw them on me and said I could borrow one of his hoodies if i was going to a hip hop concert.

Prana Zion Straight have been my favorite hunting pants fit wise. I just wish they had another pocket. I have used the FL Corrugate Guide Pant, they have a nice layout of pockets but always seem to stretch out a lot when worn.

Mine don't, and they make a lot of their pants in slim fit as well. Which ones did you have?I hate pants where you have to fight to get them over the top of your boots. Their fleece lined pants are money this time of year. Way better pocket setup than the Pranas.

Prana Zions are still my favorite. I’ve got pairs that are 4-5 years old, have been hunted in, hikes in, worn to work, washed hundreds of times, and they don’t look any different than they did new. They are triple stitched, the fabric is tough even though it’s fairly thin. My wife bought me a couple pair of those Costco Eddie Bauer pants, and they are not even in the same category. The material is loud, feels and looks cheap, and not as comfortable as the Prana’s. I don’t think I’ve ever paid more than 50 for a pair.

I’ve got Pranas on amazon for under $50 in mud, size 32X32. The price fluctuates based on size and color.

You can find Zions on sale quite often if you keep an eye out. I like the pants, their pockets just suck.

Think I'm gonna try Sitka territory pants and the back forty. Love the pocket layout and I get a hefty discount that puts them in range 55-85 dollar range
