Has anyone painted or dipped or had coated the factory CVA Cascade or Cascade XT stock? Love the rifle, hate the patterns they have available in stock. My first thought was to paint it myself, but not sure how adhesion will be with that rubber texture.

I know someone on another forum who paints stocks as a side gig. He hasn't been able to get anything to stick to a Hogue rubber stock. I would assume the same with the CVA. The Browning soft touch stocks, he strips the coating before priming and painting them.
