Painting a stock

It’s worth looking into some stencils from a place like freedom stencils. I’m gonna order some and redo some paint on me and the wife’s guns!

Textured Autumn Brown for grip and wood look on factory stock. Wish I’d used primer, I’ll be redoing it this winter.

Thought I'd post up too. I'm a 1 trick pony with the sponge camo...but here are the Magpul (which is in the classifieds) and Greyboe stocks done up. Pretty simple. I also did the forend and grip texture on the Greyboe, pre-paint.

Decided to post up some of mine from over the years. Some of these rifles I did for friends. Kinda wish I took more time to get pictures of all the different camo I’ve done for other people.

For a durable spray paint I like using Aervoe. They make it in a lot of camo colors and dries fast. Personally I’ve done a lot of a “Multicam” look by using a price of military camo netting randomly laying on the stock/rifle. Let’s the edges feather and not be a hard line between colors.

Hardly
Your blow gun tree camo looks great. You couldn't ask for a better match.
How did you paint your rifle, it turn out really nice.
