I have a seekins element that I need to add a little color to on the stock. Not a lot, just a few areas of maybe sponge design. I had a guy recommend I use Benjamin Moore CoroTech Command paint. Is there a go to paint that is used for stocks? Will I need to matte finish clear coat it again after adding this? Not looking for cheap spray paint suggestion, but something that will last.

Do a search, there are several good threads on how to paint a stock. From what I have seen the prep work is the most important to the finished paint. Krylon Fusion is pretty tough when you apply it correctly. I know some guys also use Cerakote to paint stocks. I've done a few, its a fun project - good luck!

Thanks. I am not planning on painting the whole stock, just adding a few touches of a color. It is too bland for my liking.
