Packable camp chair

looks perfect. Is that the Ground Chair or the Camp chair? I worry about the legs of the Camp chair sinking into soft ground so the Ground Chair seems like the right one for me.

I just picked this up as well because it weighs like 10 oz. and it's easy cheaper than most options like the helinox. Initial thoughts are it should work well for most situations but the seat is small enough that I can see the bars hurting my butt if I sat in it too long. That means it probably won't work for long glassing sessions. Plus a back rest would be nice at times as well. Still, it's a pretty good value and will likely work well in some situations.

Bruce is in the Chair One there. The Camp Chair and Sunset Chair are heavier and taller. If you look closely Bruce added some Leki walking tips to the ends to keep them from sinking in. Another option is the link I posted earlier which is simply a piece of PVC that has been cut in half. The Ground Chair is really short and if you hunt in places like I do, you won't be able to see over the grass or bushes. I use a Walkstool Comfort for my day hunting chair, but have a Helinox Camp Chair for backpacking (I sacrificed weight for comfort due to my height and went upgraded to the Camp Chair when it came out).

yes helinox ground chair is very nice,when i am on a fishing day,i put it in my long-hunter lid,very light very durable and fit nice in tipis.

I happen to have an ENO double that's real comfortable. Might have to bring it along sometime.
