Extra long piece of the heaviest weed eater twine is good for clearing stuff in the bore while out in the field. Coils up and weighs nothing. Stiff enough to push out mud and snow.

That’s a great idea. You could even melt the end to match your caliber size!

I use the rapid rod also. It came in handy when my hunting partner had a stuck case in his rifle during a recent mule deer hunt.

Military surplus sectional ar cleaning rod might need to get two for the extra sections depending on how long your barrel is.
