I’m in the very beginning stages of putting together a string of pack goats and looking for some recommendations on breeders or folks with started goats and/or kids for sale.

Where are you located? I've got a buddy breeding pack goats in the Ozarks. Although I hae no idea if he has any currently for sale.

Two options. First find a fancy pack goat breeder and pay top dollar. Second find a large dairy herd with the breed you like. Get on their list and pick out the largest goats born. Very affordable.

Both have worked for us.

As long as they are bottle fed they will bond with you. And there isn't much too training after that. They are like your best friend and won't leave your side.
