Lots of wrong and opinionated information out there on this subject. I would ask for this thread too be pinned at the top of the most appropriate forum.

This thread is to educate people so they can make there own decisions on the subject.

Im posting several links and papers related to this subject.

What you should have done to your goats before packing with them or buying them.

1. make sure they are tested for the MOVI strain of pneumonia.

here is a link to who does the test,

Only place I know in the NW that does the MOVI test.

MOVI is a strain of pneumonia that causes death in wild big Horn sheep.

The article you posted suggested it is likely goats transmitted pink eye to sheep in AZ's Silver Bells, which essentially contradicts the title of the article.

I am simply trying to show both sides of the story not just 1. And suggesting something is not fact right? Cows, sheep, goats, mountain goats all have/get pink eye....
