Been through many packs , but ended up with Kilfaru Manimal pack . By far the best pack I have ever owned. Pricey but one and done. Does everything you’ll ever need for saddle hunting or any other type of hunting. Absolutely love this pack.

I use the Kuiu Pro 2300 (which can be swapped out for the larger bag for out west), with Tethrd One Sticks and platform. It is a deeper bag but in MN it is nice being able to pack additional layers and I have not had any issues hanging it in a tree and accessing items.

Another one for the F1 Mainframe with Batwings. This is what I use when saddle hunting. Works pretty well but a little bigger in the tree than I would like.
One morning I forgot my knee pads so I set my pack up so that my waistband would be even with my knees and I used it as a cushion for my knees against the tree. Worked great so I no longer worry about packing any knee pads in with me.

Another vote here for the F1 Mainframe with batwings. I also have multipack on the waistbelt to hold my rappel rope, hand ascender, back up rappel method (ATC), pull down rope, and madrock. I pack pretty heavy for late season with layers and bibs and the F1 is always great.

The K4 2200 is legit. I bought a 5000 for western hunting and picked up a 2200 for my normal local whitetail stuff. I thought it would be overkill, it is but I really enjoy having it. Can tuck your platform behind the bag on the shelf and then fill it full.

Since it's been colder here I've swapped to my bigger bag for packing in outer layers and more room for snacks!

I'm running the same set up with the platform in the load area and the sticks strapped to the outside of the pack and the saddle stuffed inside the 2200 with the rest of my stuff.

I tried putting the saddle on before I started hiking to stand but don't like the way it feels. I put it on at the base of the tree.

I've thought about having a stuff sack made for the climbing sticks to keep stuff from snagging on them and the fabric from tearing but always procrastinate and the season ends and I forget about it.

How do you carry your sticks?
