I had a good hunt in Idaho last year but after I got my elk it took me out of the game because I was packing meat for a few days while my buddies continued to hunt. This year I'd like to have a contact for a packer so I can hang the meat and continue to help my buddies or them help me and then on the last couple days get a packer in to help haul the load in less trips. Does anyone know of some packers that are "on call"? And how much do you expect to pay for something like this? I was thinking horses or llamas. I found some places that rents llamas, which sounds awesome but the logistics of getting them there could be more complicated than its worth, I am envisioning someone that I can text from my inreach and they show up a day or so later.

He will need to be a licensed Outfitter in order to charge & pack your meat. Each Outfitter is given an area, they cannot go anywhere in the state. What area are you referring too, this will help to see if there's an Outfitter in your area.
