Pack animals in SW MT

Last year was my first year hunting with pack animals, and boy was it a game changer. Pack animals of one sort or another are definitely in my future. The llamas we rented last year were awesome, but I grew up on and around horses and would love give Mules a try for backcountry hunting. Does anyone have/know someone in the SW Montana (im based in Livingston but willing to travel) with Mules that they'd be willing to rent? Or goats for that matter. I'd love to "try before I buy" and commit to a specific type of pack animal.

Montana , horses near Manhattan used to maintain over a thousand head. If you can not locate you can try Wyoming horses , Alpine Wyoming. Both rent stock trailers and tack.
I have read that people that buy stock for hunting usually sale in two years. Renting $ wise often much better.
