PAC Boot seam seal

Has anyone ever seam sealed the stitching on their PAC boots? I picked up a pair of Hoffman boots and notice they say to seam seal the stitching between the leather and rubber. If so, what do you all use that works the best?

I have always mixed silicone and mineral spirits for my seam sealer.....with that said, my Hoffman pacs are not seam sealed nor do they leak. Mine are several years old.

Yes, with silicon. Just around the sticking holding the rubber to the leather.

I just used the leather conditioner/waterproofer and it held up well last winter. If I were to go to the next level then I would use the stuff for sealing tent seams; basically silicone.

It makes it a different color, like sealed seams on a tent, but dosnt discolor the leather. It’s not a one and done either I usually throw a layer on each year
