I guess I’m that guy making the 1 millionth holster thread, so I apologize in advance!

I’m searching for a way to comfortably carry my G20 when I’m bow hunting, I used an invader concepts chest holster last year and it killed my left shoulder when worn for longer than 5 or 6 hours. I also tried a kydex holster that connected directly to the back of my bino harness and that sucked.

I’m wondering if anyone knows of a company that makes OWB kydex holsters with an attachment system similar to an IWB concealed holster. I want to be able to use it on my pack belt and my pants belt and switch back and forth quickly and easily. I’m leaning towards ivory at this time (even though he’s $15-$20 more than other similar companies) but I want to see if there are any better options. Thanks!

Would a Safariland QLS fork work for what you’re wanting to do? I use this style of attachment on various different holsters on my packs and battle belts, depending upon what firearm I’m carrying.

I just briefly looked at this, it does look like something I’m going to want to look at further thank you.

Any sort of paddle holster will work pretty well for what you want to do if your pack belt has a singe strap and not molle webbing.
I’ve thought about paddle holsters for sure, but yeah like you said it wouldn’t work on my pack belt. I have the Kifaru with their older loops on the belt before they went to molle. Have you hiked much with a paddle holster? What’s held me up from getting one in the past is thinking that big piece of plastic on the hip would get uncomfortable over time.

The QLS system is a little bulky and also angles the holster out a little which I don’t like. Look at the RTI system, little lower profile with the same options.

Look at Blade Tek disc system. I have moved to this as it allows me to change to. New pistol/holster quickly. Once you purchase the female receiver the male disc that is attached to the holster is $10. Works well for me.IMG_1646.jpeg
I have 3 female receivers. One for the pack that attaches on the molle. One for the belt that is a Teklock and on for my practice belt set up that is a small drop. Works very well for me. If space is an issue I would consider the mini disc they offer.

I use a similar system as above but the G code RTI system. The razco ROMR also uses the same hanger system so accessories are interchangeable. The RTI system is a little smaller footprint than the Teklock. I have a g code belt attachment with RTI wheel, razco molle attachment for my Kifaru pack belt, and rigged up a piece of kydex that securely mounts to my FOB harness in the back then extends below with an RTI wheel mounted. Moving holsters around takes seconds.

I like the RTI system as well. My only gripe/wish is for someone to make a curved RTI receiver with molle attachment. I currently use the razco molle adapter and wish it would follow the belt contour (similar to the ivory/exo holster)

I haven’t as I think paddle holsters are lame. I use an IWB holster daily and I can put it between my pack belt and the loop if necessary.
I use an IWB as well, and have had to fall back on that during archery season. It clips on my pack belt and rides perfectly, except it’s riding as a cross draw since it’s IWB. Trying to find that same IWB attachment system (just the 2 black tabs) in Owb.

I’m probably just going to end up ordering the ivory. These other options seem okay but like you said they are all going to be heavier and bulkier than the ivory holster.

Hill People Recon kit bag with a bino Pouch on the front has been very comfortable and functional for me to carry the firearm and a few essentials easily on my chest. Fully customizable to your needs.
I put an FHF pocket organizer inside the kit pocket.

Would like to get a kydex trigger cover velcroed in the pistol compartment for extra security but I don’t think I’ll find one for my P365 W/light so until I make my own I just don’t fret as the gun is completely enclosed.

Appreciate the response, really trying to stay away from anything on the chest tho.
