Just wanted to let all the Roksliders know that our Ovis Sacks game bag sets and Kill Kit's are back in stock on the site in both Large and XL sizes. The carry bag has been redesigned to take up less room in your pack and also lightened up a bit as well.

Each set comes with 4 quarter bags, 1 meat parts bag, 40' of flagging tape, 2 pairs of latex gloves, and a 5'x3' plastic sheet to lay meat on as you take it off. The XL is ideal for mature bull quarters, Caribou quarters, and deboned Moose. The Large is designed to handle deer, antelope, and sheep quarters or even deboned elk.

Ugh. I saw the individual XL quarter bags on CamoFire and jumped on them thinking the XL kill kits were still out of stock. Three hours later and the XL kits came up for the same price as 4 XL quarter bags and I've been kicking my myself ever since. The quarter bags I ordered should be here anytime now.

Quick review: I haven't had the opportunity to load up my large Black Ovis kill kit yet with meat, but I am very impressed with the quality. The kit is light weight, fairly compact, and the stitching of the bags appear top notch. I especially like the reflective ribbon around the bottom of the bags. The only thing I added to the kit is paracord, an extra pocket knife, and a knife sharpener. Everything fits in the kit bag.

Sorry to hear that we made you jump the gun! If you would rather have the XL kit let me know and I can help you get those swapped out.

That's pretty much what I did with mine, added paracord, my razor lite knife, and a black trash bag. Makes a great kill kit.

I think I will keep the quarter bags. I'm going to try and make my large kit a super XL kit in case I get Utah cow and any bull tags again next year. This gives me the option of boning one and quartering the other.
