I got one of these on the way for a savage I'm rebarreling to 243 for a peasant build. have a XLR tr2 buttstock that I''ll use so I can get it super short lop for my kid. I'll post my results when I get them

10lbs even with 20 oz scope, rings and pic rail. won't be able to shoot for a couple weeks but its decent. .

I just ordered the chassis and handrail like your setup for my Ruger American Predator with the 18” barrel. Gonna use some AR parts laying around for now for the buttstock! But I was pretty stoked to see your rocking the SWFA scope! That is what I’ll throw on my setup.

I got a chance to take it to the range just to bore sight my savage with the rest of my 30-06 until I rebarrel. Adjusting the tr2 buttstock so it was above bore actually really helped with felt recoil. Not as bad I remember it. Chassis was stout but probably would have preferred a touch longer forend. I actually bought another one of the chassis parts for 75 bucks in Tikka SA and now me and my son can shoot the same exact chassis in in a Tikka if we want to. It's heavier but for adjustability at the range it's a very adjustable. I could even do a Tikka LA for 75 more bucks too if I wanted to
