Going with bob milligan this November. Will let you know how it goes, but everybody I have talked to says great things about him, and my initial dealings with him have been excellent.

What did you hunt with Baldy?

I got a nice bighorn ram with them. (Pics over in the 2024 meatpole thread in the sheep forum)

As hard as they worked to make it happen, I’d gladly chase goats with ‘em.

Lonesome dove is awesome. Guided for them a few times for goats.
Kodiak otherwise is the best goat area I’ve ever seen.

Bob Milligan we went last fall and will be headed back this fall. Bob and Bobby are both good guys and have killed tons of awesome goats.

I spoke with Bob at SCI. H quoted me 27,500 for a goat hunt. That's pretty tough

If you are serious about score I would recommend taking a look at the recent B&C records. Some regions are likely better than others. If score doesn’t matter than look at horse vs backpack vs boat options that you would enjoy the most. The terrain is totally different on Kodiak vs se Alaska /bc coast vs further inland. You can get dropped off on a glacier on some Alaska hunts.

There are lots of options to consider than just price.
