How much does that pack and frame weigh? The last one I got weighed close to 8 lbs empty. It was advertised at 7 lbs. just curious if that material on the bag make it lighter?

Not sure on weight. It was advertised as 7lbs 3oz so take that for what it is. It’s currently in my storage unit (in the middle of trying to move) so I don’t have a good way to weigh it.

Depends on the size/age of the kid. I’ve had it on some small adults. I cannot find any belt specs for size limits (low or high end) but it’s pretty adjustable. My small hobbit friend has a 29 inch waist and still had some adjustment when he used it.
