Ehhh i dunno...after looking at it more I see that the forend is bolted on not milled all in one piece...that and the use of key mod instead of regular mlok...kinda turns me off

Bummer
The price was extremely tempting

Can anyone give me a reason NOT to buy this. Anything better for around the same money? Not looking for top of the line. Just an entry level chassis

I considered buying this. I figured I would need this chassis ($215) and my preferences for a grip ($20), buffer tube ($20) and stock ($40) for a total of $295.

I've seen the KRG Bravo chassis drop to $350 on sale at times. They are similar in weight, and I prefer them ascetically compared to this keymod chassis.

I don't know your intended use. If weight isn't a concern, I have seen the blemished Aero Precision Solus chassis go on sale for $400 (15" and 17" models). My 17" model weighs 4.75-pounds though.

I think the KRG bravo is a better fit for me. If you wanted an aluminum chassis with the potential to add a folding stock, and don't mind the key mod, I don't know that you'll find cheaper. The Blem Aero Solus might be an option for a little more too.

Anyone have any real world experience with these? Is there any major concerns or disadvantages that the four end is not milled in with the receiver?

You guys should consider waiting for the XLR black friday sale.

As far as the forend not being milled in, its just another bolt that will come loose and more tolerance stacking. Maybe even some flex between the chassis block and fore end.

@XLR Any comments on why a non integral fore end is a bad idea?

As you said, the forend not being milled just creates a weak point on a high stress part of the chassis. I am not sure how they lock it together but it can be done properly. It's similar to an integrated rail on an action vs a non integrated rail. Screw on rails work but ive never seen an integrated rail come loose ;)

I bought one because of the price. It seems really solid and it’s light. It is multi piece but it’s bolted together solidly. Also people are talking about it being keymod instead of MLok but it’s also full length ARCA. It’s not a Comp chassis but for a light weight hunting chassis I think it’s a great option. Wish they made it for a Tikka

I bought one too! And the crazy thing is, mine came in M-lok instead of key mod! I was pretty happy about that. I also bought one of their folders. I’m not quite sure how to install it but I’m hoping to figure that out and it will be a sweet chasis system!

I didn’t pay attention at first because I cared more about the ARCA but mine is also MLok.
I’m happy with it. Now just have to decide what I’m going to put in it lol
