Has anyone compared the outdoorsman carbon standard to the Tricer AD and Aziak front country? All standing height and look to be within a few ounces of each other. I know they are not in the same price range tho. I’ve had one of the original compacts and it’s been stellar but want a standing height now.
Thanks

A little late answering this. The Frontcountry and Outdoorsmans stand pretty close size wise. The new Outdoorsmans is far easier to convert to a shooting tripod (easily remove the bottom by twisting it off vs. using a tool). The Outdoorsmans is a touch more stable.

For me, paying the Outdoorsmans came down to lever locks and push locks for splaying out. All of my twist lock tripods start with quarter turn only, but quickly get to the point where it's 2 full rotations to adjust. Both the lever locks and push locks for angling on Outdoorsmans make deployment a lot faster and easier. It's a big price jump for those features. If they were not important to me, I'd run Aziak Tripod and Tricer accessories.
