Outdoor Vision Bino Harness

I have a outdoor vision harness.. great harness but the magnets holding the lid need to be much stronger. Has anyone already made a fix for this themselves?

I had the same issue with the ov magnets, while I don’t have a fix I did message them in regards to this and they’re supposed to be coming out with an updated version with stronger magnets…

Same exact thing with m y10x42 leicas llike the design but not strong enough

I bought the cabelas harness and had the same issue. Every time i bent over they'd flop out.

I hand stitched a button below the lid, and added an elastic loop to the lid.

The elastic loop loops down around the button to keep it shut until im stationary.

I cut out the 2 magnets that hold the lid open from inside the front pocket and added them to the top closure in the middle. So instead of 2 sets of magnets holding it closed i now have 3 sets. Had to open the seam to insert magnets and then sew it closed. So far it has fixed the problem. I haven’t had any issues with it staying open without the magnets to hold it.
My Leica Geovids fit perfect so its hard to move on from this harness.
